The "On/Off" or "Stop" function enables the regulator to open or close under live conditions. Although in "off" or "stop" mode, the power supply current of the switching regulator is reduced to a low level because the output is disabled, the internal bias circuit is still operating. When it is turned on again, the regulator will re-adjust the output voltage much faster than when the input voltage is turned off and turned on again. If the state is displayed as On, the switching regulator will start at a logical high level. Otherwise, the voltage regulator will start at a low logic level.
